I woke up from a nap and all my place was plunged into darkness.
A winter afternoon just needs a dream to turn a day into night...
But I was surrounded by all the tiny lights of my electronic musical artistic life !
Computer lights and my pedalboard blinking leds, (Yeah I didn't turn it off) my amp on standby and outside all the windows (of a city at night).
I was surrounded by all the tiny lights of my modern electronic musical creative life !
These lights in the dark are what I need to feel alive.

Floating cities

Centuries ago our families couldn't land anywhere,
chased back by the lucky ones born on the safe parts of the world.
Heavily armed and determined, to keep us migrants out of their land.
Too many of us, and not enough to share... not enough to share.
Our first little boats were easily sunken, many disappeared.
So the next families built stronger ships, but still nowhere to land.
The way back was too long and many starved on board.
Floods still invading our land, we had to learn a new way of life,
a survival condition... a matter of life or death.
We joined two boats, then three and ten ! Floating cities were born...

Some dropped the anchors, some didn't...
Still exploring the seas, fearing the storms...
This arch is now my home, born on the ocean,
dreaming of touching the sand, walking on grass,
feeling a solid rock under my feet...
Legends and tales Grand mother told me about
a time with islands and continents of ice...
Can we believe that humans could destroy things as solid as a mountain ?
Human pollution has changed the climate, she said.
Changed the face of Earth...
